Saskatchewan PNP draw September 15, 2020

Saskatchewan invited a total of 621 candidates on September 15, 2020 to apply for provincial nomination. Candidates from the International Skilled worker category through Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand subcategories were invited to apply for a Canadian PR.

An International Skilled Worker Expression Of Interest (EOI) submission is a pre-application which allows candidates to fill out an online form indicating their interest in applying to the SINP and show their qualifications.

Candidates having the skills needed by the Saskatchewan’s job market will be issued an ‘’Invitation To Apply (ITA)’’ from the International Skilled Worker EOI system. These include connections to the province, work experience and language proficiency.

To distinguish candidates with equal scores, the SINP prioritize candidates who have a connection with Saskatchewan (have a close family relative / past work experience / or past student experience). Candidates with the most work experience and highest language scores are next selected. It should be pointed out that candidates will not be invited unless their job or work experience is in- demand.

The size and frequency of EOI Selections are based on labour market need; provincial priorities, and the number of applications processed since the last EOI Selection. Selections takes place every two months, at a minimum.
