Express Entry 166th draw held on November 05, 2020
On November 05, 2020, a total of 4,500 candidates from the Express Entry pool were invited to apply for Permanent Residency. The minimum CRS score was 478; seven points higher than the previous draw held on October 14, 2020. IRCC ranks candidates in the Express Entry pool using a point-based system known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The highest-ranking candidates are selected from the pool and invited to apply for permanent residence.
Candidates who submitted their profile before October 26, 2020 at 22:44:19 UTC were issued Invitation to Apply (ITAs). If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.

The numbers in this table reflect the total number of people in the pool overall, a few days before an invitation round. The score distribution may change as people submit new profiles and other profiles expire.

2020 is a new record-breaking year for Express Entry; the number of ITAs issued to date is the highest it has ever been. The total ITAs so far this year amounts to 87,350 as illustrated by the graph below.
In this draw, both French-speaking and bilingual candidates have been eligible for more CRS points. It was announced on October 27, 2020 by the Canada’s immigration Minister, Marco Mendicino that French-speaking and bilingual Express Entry candidates are now eligible to receive additional CRS points.
